But let's face it, WHEN it happens, it's most likely in Arpoador, and on a hot Sunday. I live just a few blocks from there. Better to "scare" a newbie than have them inadvertently step out of their hotel on such a day carrying iPhones and a fat wallet (U$100 in Rio largely fits that description).
