Friends stayed at both Four Seasons resorts in Bali and really enjoyed the time. I have also heard positive comments about the Amandari resorts on the island.

I would really like to hear from other travelers particularly those who have stayed on the island in the last 3-4 months regarding their perceived safety.

I would enjoy hearing about your stays and which resorts/hotels you enjoyed. Since I'm leaving from the West Coast (SFO) I would also enjoy hearing about the routes on carriers with the best service (& nos. of flights) into Bali with particular attention on shortest duration and DIRECT onto the Island without having to stop in Jakarta.
