I didn't say otherwise but I am interested in how AC actually intends to address the issues when they inevitably arise. I really wouldn't be happy being put on Jet, AI or any other airline other than LH or LX perhaps. I could have booked these airlines at a reduced price but chose not. Air China had some great prices as well out of Montreal. But all of these options have extra time involved and issues that I didn't care to have to endure. So if I get stuck in Delhi do I have a choice to go LX when a flight is cancelled or do they stick me on Jet or AI?
A few years back I got stuck in YYZ while going to Cairo (AC mechanical issues). The international connections desk at AC was useless. I had to give them the best routing for the next day so that I could make my appointments. I could imagine that Delhi would be fun as well, especially that I no longer have status.
