Indeed. I have been on many delayed domestic flights in India mostly because the incoming flight was from DEL. Sometimes not even the incoming flight but because the aircraft left DEL late and then went to another destination and then to BOM so pretty much everything is late for the day. DEL also has a over abundance of VIPs of all sorts and the past custom has meant delaying flights so VIPs could make the flight - though it seems like there is a ground level rebellion about this practice. This would likely not apply to AC but you could see the ripple effect from these shenanigans. Would also be interesting to see if AC sells a lot of India connections via DEL - what happens when the pax is late to connect in DEL because of the weather. If I were to go to BOM and choose AC, I would prefer to connect in DXB or Europe than DEL.
