No contradiction. To be considered "signed up for promotion" you must "check all three special offers and information boxes" as stated above.

All packages for guests who were Gold prior to July 9 were send in regular mail by the end of last week. These were mailed by the end of last week. In fact, they were mailed by midweek, October 31, as promised.

Please note this isn't a welcome package and doesn't form part of the WestJet Rewards Gold experience going forward. It's a one-time special promotion only.
Another important item to note is that depending on the print batch and the mailing date, the expiry date of the vouchers will be different.
