Given the destinations served by LGW, I doubt the oil industry will have much affect on the viability of the route. I think even seasonal service would be beneficial to both BA and NE Scotland.
Yes but for the bottom line? ABZ-LGW worked when LGW-IAH connected the oil industry, when that moved to LHR, the yields allegedly went South.
