Indeed excluding 1A/B/C, and the A321 emergency rows, it's the greatest kneeroom (legroom is a different story!) of any shorthaul service on BA, with the exception of 2C/D on the E190SR out of LCY. There is 62 cms between the edge of the seats 2D/E/F and the bulkhead, compared to around 55 cm elsewhere. Row 1 still has its merits, that has legroom (and kneeroom!) and during the flight it is a comfortable experience on shorter sectors, but on longer trips such as SSH, RHO, DLM, BOD, then (a) the toilets will be in use more and (b) the crew would probably appreciate the space if the rest of CE isn't full.
