Yet another split or not split question. My wife and I are both 1K on same locator. On a flight in 3 days with F7 and R4. But no joy in CPU. Might splitting us up increase the chances of an upgrade? I was not sure if they would by-pass us and give the upgrade to a lower status flier if only 1 seat was available right now.

I am willing to roll the dice to get an upgrade now for my wife, and hope for me to clear in the next 3 days with so much R space showing.
