I just looked at flight aware, and noticed that BA287 (LHR>SFO) flies directly over Greenland. I'll be on that flight with my wife in about 2 weeks. It has always been a dream of hers to see the northern lights. Is it a regular occurrence to see them from flights over Greenland? It might be worth paying for the window seats on the upper deck if so. Would be a neat way to end the trip!
