I was going to say the same.
But anyway, I went ahead an booked myself a night in Tokyo, USD$23 cheaper than the lowest possible rate I could find on the internet for that hotel, I'm pretty happy about it.
looks like this indian site have a co-branded card with Amex, so it is not some kind of small operation obviously.
