If IB contacted you quite soon after you made the reservation, they have a strong case that you were not substantially injured by their catching the website error.

I do understand that me using the code without reading that it was just for one is not "right". But in all fareness the terms that said the 1 booking per person were hidden on a second link of 'more terms'.
Nonetheless, my question is more: can the airline cancel e-tickets already emitted if I have them, and have the receipts, and been charged? even if they offer a refund, I don't want one. And there should be compensation to saying to the other people that thought were travelling that they can't.
