If there's 2 open FC seats and 2+ people on the wait list at, say 24 hours out, it doesn't matter if the people on the waitlist are using stickers or not, it matters if AA clears them at 24 hours. If they don't and there's IRROPS the seats are still free.
Actually, it has plenty to do with stickers. It also has to do with holding back on sub-EXP upgrades.
