I forgot you asked about George V. It is a superlative hotel, but that often comes at a premium price even over other top hotels. It's up to you to decide if it is worth paying for. I can say that with third night free and Diamond Club benefits, I would be at Plaza Athenee in a heartbeat. Even if you spend the same amount, stay in a higher category room or suite. Or, just book a Deluxe Room with a confirmed upgrade to a Junior Suite, and save money for dining or shopping...

Ordinarily I would say that FS GV is worth a premium, and it is, but if other excellent hotels are having promotions like third night free, or low suite rates like at S-L, then the price difference is really hard to overlook in my opinion.

Perhaps the reason MO paris does not interest me is that I live in BKK and also have easy access to MO HK and other Asian properties, so when I go to paris MO and Pen are less appealing to me.
