Most airlines don’t have a separate lounge so you’ll find the majority of premium passengers (and priority pass holders) at the Premium Lounge.Being accessible to that many people makes the lounge incredibly busy and it was hard to find a couple of empty seats. On a positive note I do have to mention that the design of the lounge is superior to your everyday Priority Pass lounge and the food selection was surprisingly big and actually tasted pretty good.
While it’s a solid option,no need to get there early just to hang out,rather stop and have a suckling pig/fried duck or whatever you like on your way to the airport.


Our flight to Hong Kong was rather uneventful,I spent most of my time watching StudioCX and talking to my one and only.
The 772 featured the updated regional product which is way nicer than the old one,and completely fine for short intra-Asia hops.I’d compare the seats to an upgraded versions of the first class seats you find on domestic US routes.
As usual to Cathay, food was good and plenty, service was friendly yet professional.
