2.If more than one Rewards Program Membership Number is assigned to an individual, he/she will only receive Points or Miles for one Membership Account.
Duplicate Membership Accounts will be canceled.

I have accumulated over time several Marriott accounts. Is there any program rule that prohibits multiple accounts? I didn't see any reference to multiple accounts in the Terms and Conditions, but I have heard of people with multiple accounts having them "frozen" (whatever that means). I use them as a way of tracking travel for different clients, etc.
