What a ridiculous assertion. The complexity of offering someone a taxi ride within a city and airline service are not at all comparable.

And pointing at Uber's valuation to say it's the wave of the future isn't any more sensible. Webvan was worth $6 billion at one point, where's it now? Uber isn't yet anywhere close to profitable and all it really has is a relatively simple idea that can easily be replicated by competitors if it ends up being successful.
