I don't know how Google Pay works, but if it's anything like Apple Wallet, the 'cards' that get added to it come from either an app or an email or a website. To be entirely honest, I don't care about the origin of the virtual card, just that it's there.
In Android Pay, you hit the FAB, then "Add a loyalty program", then search for "Air Canada" or "Altitude", select that option, then either take a picture of your barcode, or enter your Aeroplan number manually.
So if you don't care about the origin, then what's the issue? It's there. Unless you're saying your iPhone doesn't support this, in which case, you may be blaming the wrong entity
