I'm tempted by the "Hertz Mystery Vehicle - Manual or similar" with a car type as in the title for $45/day in Australia when a Economy (Yaris) is $.50 less and a Compact (Corolla) is $1.50 more. The Mystery car description says " 1 Large Suitcase, 2 Small Suitcases" which seems like it might rule out Yaris or Corolla (who both have descriptions of " 1 Large Suitcase, 1 Small Suitcase").
Just thought I'd comment to let people know how this worked out for me.
I rolled the dice and went with the "Mystery Vehicle" at Ayers Rock. I got a Toyota Prado (a fairly large SUV) for $20 (Australian)/day less than any other available vehicle at the time of booking.
