If you read my opening post, you'd see that such "complex" things have been installed by the likes of other airlines and hotels. We don't all have to be software engineers to understand the simplicity of use, the potential to make things easier and quite frankly, the lack of such an effort on the part of a major (international) airline and corporation like Air Canada is not impressive.
Sure, AC has bigger issues to deal with, but I'm with the voice in the other thread who said AC should spend less time hiring famous chefs to fiddle with food menus and so on.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Hilton, Starwood, Marriott, etc, do not cover 194 countries. How many computers are run at YYZ alone?
Next time someone boards a plane or enters a lounge, take a look at the legacy systems that the agents work with.
Let's focus on urging airlines to at least bring that up to say, oh I dunno, the year 1990 and then we'll worry about virtual Altitude cards that affect so few of us.
