looks like the 6a MCI-ORD is getting cancelled due to republic crew availability:

(given your layover times, i'm guessing that's what you were on.. even if not, you were easy to move over to a more direct route as they were doing reaccomodation..)

interesting that aa.com is still selling it! expertflyer flight status shows it "scheduled", but offers the above in the comments..
