That time period to NZ will be the single hardest award(s) anyone would ever try to get. People tend to throw "impossible" (award seats) around here a bit too easily, but... I say, this one will be impossible, or as practically close to impossible that you should absolutely plan something else.

It really 'aint gonna happen on anything other than hysterically expensive AAnytime awards on the AA flight to SYD or the AA flight to AKL-- which should be flying by then. But the Anytime award rate during that time to SYD or AKL will eat up so many miles you won't believe it when you look (if you haven't.)
