Hi.
Separate tickets.
Leg 1: Gru-Doh Business class booked with Smiles-Gol miles 100k
Leg 2. Doh - Auh also business booked with AA miles 25k

Thatīs the reason why is booked this way.

So, it doesnīt make any sense to book a hotel and then pay for the visa just to get the baggage and re-check.

They donīt have any interline agreement?
Thereīs a transfer desk in Doh right before the screening scan to re-enter the airport lobby, arenīt this supposed to deal with baggages in cases like this?

edit:

This will be my third time in doh airport:
first: got the visa and stayed for 3 days
second: just transit with Qatar to HKG
this time: have no clue how they going to handle this
