Maybe you got a dud? I've walked around my house, the airplane, the airport (trash can about 20 feet away from my seat) and not had a problem with connectivity being choppy. Music and podcasts transmitted perfectly.
same here - paired both with my iPhone and the BT transmitter that was included, I haven't had any issues with the audio cutting out.
so far, my main complaint is the battery life on the BT transmitter - not the BTunes receiver, but the device w/ the 3.5mm plug. It's not nearly as good as the battery life on the BTunes receiver.
