The AC in Terminal A has a smoking lounge (as you would be airside anyway, you could hop the trAAin).

Other good reasons for joining the AC are really great shower facilities, a minimal exercise room, a music room, and somewhere civilized (did I really say that ) to wait during the long checkins and potential delays - AC membership seems good value to me - especially if you are out of DFW or ORD - and a smoker, like me.

Incidentally, recently there has been talk of nicotine withdrawal being blamed for some air-rage on long-haul flights (in addition to the obvious alcolol related incidents). I'm no expert (except to say first-hand that nicotine withdrawal can cause headaches, and other uncomfortable physical side effects), but some European airlines offer nicotine gum to smokers, maybe they are listening...
