Slightly outside the scope of this thread but switch the number to your QF one, select your seat (for free), then switch back to CX (assuming that's where you want to credit) just before flying. At the airport check in desk they should be able to do it for you.
Ok , and how shall I go abouts doing that , the change from CX to QF that is.
