I've seen the edited Rain Main, described above, on a flight.

On an El Al flight to Tel Aviv in 1998, I watched an edited U.S. Marshals. The extensive crash scene was totally removed. In the edited version, the movie jumps straight from the explosion on the plane to the rescue effort on the ground, with no shots of the wrecked fuselage.
