There's a thread on this offer in the UA forum, and many of us (me included) were not targeted. Despite being an SFO based 1K who's done approx. 4-8 ps RTs per year for the past four years or so.
Otoh, I was targeted and I've only flown 5-6 ps one ways in the last 5 years, and I rarely originate my travel in SFO. UA mystery indeed.
