ecollect and techgirl, I think letters to the airline are in order for both of you.
That kind of behavior shouldn't be tolerated, either by the company or the passengers. At the very least, non-revs should be expected to act with the decorum of well-behaved regular (read: paying) passengers. Whether or not more is expected of them is AA's call to make. Make sure you include dates, flight numbers, and seat assignments of the employees in question with your letters.
