If the behavior by AA employee's is as stated, it is deplorable and should probably be addressed in a letter. I don't know anyone who would behave in such an unprofessional way.
I do agree with the ticket agent to not take a credit card that doesn't have your name on it, that is procedure. I don't agree with her smarmy attitude while declining to use your mothers card.
As one of the FA's who does work the JFK-CDG route, I sometimes I wish I were deadheading, even if it is to/from Pheonix. The grass is always greener, don't you know?
