I totally agree with you Texana. I have had the worst experiences with my cousins who are all younger than me. When I was a teenager, most of them were about 5 or 6 because my uncles and aunts started having children late. They never ever yelled or had them spanked or reprimanded even while they hung off of me while I said to please stop. It was cute apparently. I don't know about everyone else, but the three spankings I got when I was little was enough that if my dad looked at me funny I would shut up and do nothing for an hour. These days, a spanking is abuse to some people. You must negotiate with the kids. You've got to be kidding me. They're kids. They need to know who's boss. I always knew how to behave on an airplane, and I can never understand when kids think it's funny to kick seats or scream. I would definitely say something to the parents. If they seem to be off the new age parenting kind, go to the FA and ask to be moved. That's what I've done.
