I think that if CIBC doesn't address the 25-60% bonus miles possible with the AMEX cards they will see a big drop in charge volumes. I know that feature alone is enough for me to get an AMEX AeroPlat. I will keep my Aerogold Visa because of its wider acceptance, but I'd expect to put through only about 10% of what I'm currently charging.
