CIBC has been after MLL access for years so it could offer an enhanced AeroGold product. The Diners contract precluded this, but bankruptcy provided AC with the ability to reopen these contracts. Yes, it will be crowded through 2004, but back to a more normal level next year when the Diners is ended [though most of these people likely will take up one or the other]. And remember, didn't AC open the MLLs up to full Y fare payers too?

As for the YVR lounge, the International one is far too small for the number of flights served around noon time. But most of these customers have paid a handsome premium on their tickets to pay for the privilege. YVR domestic is seldom that crowded.
