Has PVG adopted the I to I transfer process that PEK T3 has, where one can just go to transit security and not have to hassle with immigration, claiming luggage and checking in again.
I am making an AA to CX/KA connection in T2.
Pvg doesn't have a similar process yet, but I'm pretty sure you won't have to touch your bags there.
