The BA mileage plan (extremely low seat availability, fuel surcharge during a period of very low fuel costs, constant devaluations, charging per flight segment, etc.) should be the subject of SOMETHING: litigation, government bait and switch investigation, 60 minutes story, etc. etc. It's amazing how little guff they seem to take from the flying public for so many sleazy policies. I think "Avios" translates to: "make the suckers think they have something of value when they really have nothing of material value"
