Is it possible to buy a refundable AA ticket and then check in, get the boarding pass, and then refund it? I know it's just an Admirals club, but my situation makes it so that I need to spend a few hours at the airport and it'd help a lot. Thanks in advance.
Your BP will be logged into the AC and so AA could decide to make an example of you as this scheme is explicitly forbidden. You could buy the day pass but you might want to consider whether spending the time in the terminal with $50 in your pocket is a better bet!
