Stayed 3 nights recently and it was overall ok. We had a King coast view on the 8th floor facing North. The room was a bit dated. It consisted of a King bed and sitting chair(no sofa). The bathroom was on the small side as well (barely fit one person standing).
The breakfast buffet was good and the $4 upgrade from the free continental (gold/diamond benefit) was worth it.
The pool is a bit small, though. We stuck with the gorgeous white sand beach despite the $10 daily charge for each recliner and $15 for an umbrella.
We did not get charged the published $20 daily resort fee, I'm not sure if that's a hidden benefit or a mistake.
I think the hotel is a little over priced considering the sand pearl 2 blocks away is on the caliber of a Waldorf property for not a lot more $$ nightly rate.
