Am looking to book an economy ticket from LHR to SIN and was considering flying with QF / EK. The flights which come up are codeshares between the two carriers, the ramifications of which have already been extensively discussed on this forum.

I've read all the posts/sites quoting rules applying to whether the flight is QF or EK metal, though what isn't clear are cases where this is mixed within a single leg. e.g. My flight to DXB would appear to be QF metal whilst the onward part of the journey to SIN would be EK metal. (The same applies in reverse for the return.) As a OW Sapphire (BA), would I have lounge access and similar benefits?

At the moment, my situation with regards to Avios/TPs is reasonably comfortable for this membership year (I'm only seeking to renew, not aim for Emerald), so am less concerned about whether I pick up Avios/TPs for these flights. However, lounge access would obviously be desirable (despite what I hear about the EK J lounge in DXB). Would anybody be able to share knowledge or experience about this situation?
