To add to this-- if they didn't allow me to remove water, I would just call down to the front desk to have more free bottles sent up, wasting everyone's time. I dare say the free water is the biggest perk of being a plat member. I would otherwise spend $20 on water for my fiancee & I over a weekend at the vending machine or wake up hungover and thirsty and drinking gross sink water.
