newbie here and also not a flying geek

I am going to book a ticket for thailand with emirates and seen there is a 15 hours stop in Dubai ...

My question is where to spend these 15 hours ? I have read their website and seen Dubai connect option ... Is that means if i avail the dubai connect option then i can have a temporary visa for 15 hours and i can spend 15 hours outside of the airport ?

Also while booking i cannot see the Dubai connect option , my ticket price is around 700 USD .

Any thoughts ?
