My family flew on Flight TG 476 first class from Syd-Bkk on Saturday October 24th and I got the whole run down of how great the service was, not to get the shrimp, and what a good flight I was to have. Just you wait my parents said....And wait I did. I have flown Thai many times in First so I smiled thinking what a nice flight I was to have....wrong.

On October 25th, I flew Thai 4760 from SYD to Bangkok which left Sydney one hour earlier at 10AM. What a HORRIBLE flight in First class. They barely served champagne and rarely came around for any refills. We never met the head flight steward or flight head who appeared to be two old men? The food came out cold and when we didn't like something or asked to heat it up, they rolled their eyes at us. It was the "negative" service flight apparently, where less was more.....No offer to make beds, no flight attendant looking to refill water or provide ANY service, nothing. If you wanted it, you have to push the call button, there were no flight attendants in attendance? The cheese tray was missing the cheddar, when we commented that we knew from the day before it was supposed to be good, they reluctantly went and provided the full tray. No smiles, no Thai hospitality and pretty much no nothing. At the end of the flight nobody came around to thank us for flying Thai? I thought they do this even in Business class??

This first class flight crew should not be flying anymore and I hope Thai takes note of this flight number and Date. This crew was one of the worst I have ever flown with. I fly about 9 months per year and usually in J or F so I know when things need to change and this crew needs to be put on probation or removed. While I recognize that the main reason we have flight attendants is for our safety, I believe that Safety and service go hand in hand. If I am not comfortable with your service, it doesn't help to make me feel safe.

I changed my return flight to SYD to Emirates. They are not always as nice as Thai but at least they have consistency and good flight attendants in First. I believe in voting with my $$$. I want no compensation from Thai.....I have had many mediocre flights, but this one was just plan awful. Shame on you Thai Airways.
