We stayed at Westin Siray Bay in April 2015.
I booked the hotel with for a stay of 7 days paid with Starpoints.
As I was travelling with my wife and 5 year old son who was still learning to swim at that time, I used my SNA's to make sure we would have a pool access suite.
It seemed to be not that easy to get this suite due to the high occupancy of the hotel, but The Westin Director of Rooms, Mrs Ellis Rungkarn was just amazing. No effort was to big in order to satisfy our needs.
Check-in was smooth and we received a discovery suite, which had pool access to a plunge pool.
The suite has two different rooms which is great when you bring kids.
The furniture might receive an upgrade as it felt a bit cold, but apart from this everything about the room was perfect.
About the location, the hotel is at quite a distance from...everything.
We rented a car for the entire week, so we didn't consider that really as a problem. We explored different beaches everyday all around the island.
The beach next to the resort didn't really attract us, it was rocky and the water looked rather muddy.
But this is Pukhet so there are so many beaches to visit, so we didn't really care.
During my stay it was my sons 6th birthday, Westin Siray Bay made it for him an unforgettable experience! They filled the room with balloons and little robots made of paper carrying his name. They added some candy and chocolate cake, the little guy couldn't be more happier! on top of that they gave him this wishing lampoon as an extra present.
Thanks for all that
All in all I would for sure go back, my son is still talking about his stay at Westin Siray Bay.
