Take MOs out
Write my name in both fields, turn over, scribble signature
tear off stub and hand mo to teller while I work on the next one.
Make small talk about how I have now accumulated enough airline miles for our trips for 2017 (not joking).
When they recognize you and you deposit a couple hundred k of MOs, they eventually know you and what is happening ... o.0
I deposited one over the weekend via mobile deposit & the other one in-person at my CU to get teller's reaction & also to see which one clears faster. She said if it was a USPS MO, they could call the hotline & clear it immediately. They did make $200 immediately available & 2-day hold on balance of $299. I didn't feel any hostility with the MO, but it's my first one. How much do you usually do in one visit?
