Don't forget EY's 9th A380 doesn't arrive until 2017. So when MEL launches they will only be doing it with eight A380s. I haven't done the maths but I assume it still might be possible to cover everyone by squashing the LHR turns in between the SYD, MEL and JFK sectors, with some substitutions for LHR when there are tech issues.
