I stupidly left my Sony ereader on board this morning at LHR. Having googled it seems my only chance is to keep a beady eye on
www.missingx.com.
Just wondering what people's experience of this is? It seems a tad generic to me - searching on a single word (ereader? e-reader? e-book? even kindle?). I don't recall Sony printing the word ereader on the device, so perhaps whoever enters the details it won't know that's the model?
Not the end of the world if it doesn't surface but annoying. I'm a bit surprised that there isn't an obvious way to say "I left so-and-son in seat yyy on BAxx today". But maybe just too much stuff gets lost every day to allow for that level of detail.
And given I've been able to see a whole bunch of Kindles abandoned today, what is the claim process? Presumably one has to identify the item somehow? (No, I'm not thinking of blagging someone else's - just wondering if someone else might take a shine to mine!).
