No, moondog means if you chose home currency, you should have to live with your decision.
But moondog, if Mastercard, this isn't technically true. MC's chargeback manual allows post-event assertion of DCC opt-out. Yes it might appear to allow buyer's regret. But given it requires the MC-issuing bank to help apply this chargeback I don't see a lot of scope of abuse of this theoretical loophole
