Need to take a grain of salt with what you read - especially when it's a PR media release (after all, in previous media releases Etihad have boasted they provide "industry leading" product and service to it's passengers, including "seamless experiences" across it's partners, which many would find somewhat fanciful).
Absolutely correct. Every flight that I have taken in first aboard the A380 with EY had a vacant residence. The same can be said for flights that my brother has taken, my mother has taken and another friend of mine.

Just to add to all this - EY have categorically stated that they will not be making any further orders for the A380 on top of the 10 currently on order. If the residence was really selling that well, I would have thought you would be buying MORE of these aircraft, or in the least say that you are considering buying more - not state that you will definitely not be ordering anymore.

If you look at their counterpart across the desert in Dubai and EK - they are saying that the A380 is performing above expectations and I think with a total order of 150 of these aircraft - you can't really dispute that claim.
