Just received the following from a friend in Los Angeles:

"I called them. They have a temporary entrance through the garage (that's why it didn't look open to me). They expect to be totally complete by August. They are open now with 1/2 the rooms available. Grand opening rate is $69, 7 nights a week, until further notice (she didn't know end date). Their shuttle service starts Monday. Right now, they pay for a taxi to/from airport."

This hotel is not to be confused with the Radisson Culver City. The Radisson LAX is the closest hotel to LAX. It was a Wyndham (and I believe a Hyatt before that) until last fall when it was closed for a major renovation and just re-opened as a Radisson.
