Lovely folks and very friendly. What I find strange though is if I lock the door to go out for some solo time, my partner is locked inside the room and has no way to get out.

The ladies have this green and white local costume which I thought was cute. Food is very good but quite expensive. 1 meal for 2 pax costs as 155-175 euros, no bottle of wine, just regular food and a few glasses of drinks.

Anywho, the property is smacked in the heart of the tourist area as well as shopping. Right beside the hotel is LV.
Actually, they have two restaurants, you are referring to the Goldener Hirsch, which used to have a Michelin star, IIRC. It is one of the most famous restaurants on this planet and I fear there is hardly any other restaurant in the world which saw a comparable line up of superstars ranging from Karajan to Loren & Solti to Schwarzenegger.

The mid range restaurant sHerzl is positioned to appeal to US and Japanese tourists, but significantly less expensive.

Places like the Goldener Hirsch, Fuschl and the Imperial should be on the to do list of every SPG member.
