We will be staying there as non-status guests for 4 nights at the end of November. We've stayed there 2 years ago for a couple of nights, but I don't remember a few things and I was wondering if you could help us with a couple of questions:

1) Can someone comment on the relative value of arranging the Camry through the hotel or getting a taxi on arrival? 1300 THB sounds a bit steep, are the hotel surcharges added on top of this?
2) Has anyone done an excursion to Phi Phi Islands starting from the hotel? Could you please comment on the experience and the cost?
