6k Appliance Purchase for new home build
Team,
Thrilled to build a home and have a legit reason to spend 5800 in a store. Although with all of my cards I am debating which card to use given purchase protections, incentives, etc. First off, I have these options for places to buy from;
-Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Costco
I cannot make any drastic moves with my credit like open new lines up.
I have these credit cards;
Amex Plat. Biz - only 1 MR/$. Good protections.
Citi 2% Visa CB - 2% CB is great. I have a high credit limit on this card.
FIA 2% Amex CB - 2% CB is great, but my limit is only $3500
Citi AA Exec. Mastercard - Premium card so it should have similar benefits as amex plat, but also 1 mile/$
SPG Personal Amex - nothing special about this. 1 SPG point per dollar spent
Chase Ink Visa - No office supply stores here. Unless I bought Home Depot gift cards at Office Max or something.
Chase Marriott Visa - Nothing special here.
Chase Hyatt Visa - Nothing special here.
Chase IHG Visa - Nothing special here.
BOA Virgin Atlantic Card - Nothing special here?
Barclays Miles & More Mastercard - Nothing special here?
Considering my options, I am thinking of going with the Amex Platinum because I figure I can't go wrong with their protections. I was also thinking of the FIA 2% card on $3500 of appliances, and then the remaining on the Citi 2% CB card.
What card would you consider putting it on? Would you also make the additional effort of buying gift cards from reseller sites, to get an additional 7%~ off?
